Outstanding Manufacturer of Electronic Products (ANCA AWARDS).

of Color TVs (ANCA Awards). Received the Sharp Outstanding Contribution
Award (for remarkable improvement in sales and profit).

Produced the GF-A200, the first locally designed radio cassette
developed by SPC engineers. Named Most Outstanding Audio Manufacturer
by the Consumers union of the Philippines, Golden Shell Awardee for excellence
in exports by the Department of Trade and Industry, Awardee for Excellence
in Advertising at the 1991 Ad Congress.

Marked its 10th year as a joint venture. Posed a substantial
improvement in production capacity with the installation of additional
machines and conveyors.

Received ISO 9002 certification for its quality system from
the British Standards Institute. Introduced the Sharp Kitchen appliance
line and the World's First Camcorder with LCD monitor- VIEWCAM in the
Philippines.

1994
Began production of large - capacity washing machine ES-620W
which immediately gained high market reputation. Named Most Outstanding
Manufacturer of Washing Machines (ANCA Awards). Opened the "Imagination
and Creativity Technology Hall", a major concept showroom of Sharp products,
at SM Megamall.

1995
Received the Outstanding Contribution Award from Sharp Corporation.
Reached the one-million production mark in washing machines. Consequently
named Most Outstanding Washing Machine Manufacturer (ANCA Awards). Introduced
the Sharp 100% non-CFC environment-friendly refrigerators in the Philippines.
Also introduced the first inverter split-type airconditioner in the country.
Garnered Merit Awards at the National Advertising Congress.

Surpassed P4-billion mark in domestic sales, ranking 58th among the Top
1000 Corporations of the Philippines. Introduced the Sharp Megawash Jr.
in the market.

Won the Grand Prix Award from Sharp Corporation for outstanding sales,
profitability and market share. Surpassed the two-million production and
sales mark in washing machines. The second million was produced in a span
of only two years. Broke the one-million production and sales mark for
CTVs as well as for karaokes.

Sharp marks its 25 years of LCD worldwide. Completion of
a new 3-story building to house engineering, administrative and production
offices and additional warehousing space.

Introduced LCD monitors and MD in the local market. Established
Document Systems Group manufacturing computer printers.

Received ISO 14001 (EMS) certification from BSI.
